Good alternative to FOP?

I am currently using FOP to create a PDF file from an XML file.

But I ran into two big problems:

  • First: FOP cannot manage OpenType font files

  • Second: fo: float not yet implemented

So for me it is impossible to create a PDF file with FOP.

I need to change the FO processor, and I would like to know what is the best processor for replacing FOP (it should work with both windows and linux)

I had positive experience using Antenna House Formatter to format XSL-FO. If you can go with the price. It supports both fo: float and OpenType

Regarding your first problem. If the Font license allows you to convert it using FontForge for use in FOP.
