In the Computer Science lecture, we were told that they have special code (this assembler below) that determines the behavior of the processor, which is written inside the ROM ROM. This meant that it determines what exactly each command in logical logic means ... It sounds rather strange - I did not find any information about it.
Perhaps he did not mean the CPU, but the microcontrollers? But he said that he defines the exact behavior of instructions such as MOV, ADD ect. So, I am puzzled.
Or did he mean any PCB layout language?
