HTML object mapping & gt; in the title

Question

I am trying to display> HTML in the page title, but they do not appear in some browser header databases.

Firefox 4 displays the correct> character in the title bar, but IE and Firefox 3 show characters like & Gt;

So, the headers in Firefox will be:

Fruit> Bananas> Peeled

but some indicators:

Fruit & Gt; Bananas & Gt; Peeled

How can i fix this?

Just a thought, your name included the capital G in ≫ , you tried all lowercase letters ≫
