GWT Obfuscation violates Safari browser for iPad

I built a great GWT application that works fine on chrome / safari. But on iPad 2, the app disables the mobile safari.

I suspect that the obfuscation version that the compiler creates displays lines that are too long for the iPad 2 Web browser browser. When I compile the application in nice mode, it works.

Are there any hints on how to solve this problem? switching to production with a pretty mode is not an option.

Thanks!

We had the same problem, and there seemed to be a problem with iOS 4.x. Fix it for compilation in PRETTY mode, which will work

I ran into the same issue with ipad one and a big gwt application. I changed from the iframe gwt linker to the javascript linker on the cross site and got rid of this problem.

In the gwt.xml file, try the following:

<inherits name="com.google.gwt.core.Core" /> <add-linker name="xs" />
