Google +1 Count for my homepage is not for all subpages?

I have implemented a fairly new Google +1 button on the site I developed. It sits in my footer, and I want people to just add this page if they thought it was a cool page. Since I implemented this, several people have already clicked it on the main page.

However, when you click on a link to a sub-site of my page or the URL has, for example, a link. #hash in it the +1 button in my footer loses the counter and starts from scratch. Of course, the purpose of the +1 button is β€œlike” or β€œ+1” for each article and each page on the website.

I wonder if it is possible to have the same global button account on my site?

What you could try is to use the href attribute in the plusone tag. Like this:

<g:plusone size="medium" href="http://www.mydomain.com"></g:plusone>

This way you can force the URL to be a plus. Just a long shot, not sure if it will work. Details on the href attribute are explained here .
