Should I use publishDate or datePublished for schema.org Review markup?

Question

I am using schema.orgs Review and I would like to know whether to use publishDate or datePublished .

According to the document ( http://schema.org/Review ) it looks like datePublished , but in this example they use publishDate .

I would lean towards "datePublished" since I cannot find "publishDate" in my full complete documentation .
