Open your .bar file in Blackberry Playbook Simulator

Hi, I have an early version of the Playbook app that one of our developers made for us in Flash Builder. This is the .bar file. I installed all the necessary keys and simulators Abode and RIM SDK and I myself create an application in Flash Builder 4.5, which works fine in debug mode in the simulator.

The problem is that our developer went on vacation for a week and I want to test the application while he leaves and give him feedback, but I can not open one .bar file.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thank you in advance

I assume that you mean "install" the .bar file, since opening it (on your PC) is a simple matter of unpacking it.

To install / deploy the simulator, you must do this on the command line, where the SDK folder / folder is located in your PATH.

blackberry-deploy -installApp -device DEVIP -password PASS -package barfilename.bar

DEVIP and PASS should be expanded to the IP address and password of the device / simulator, respectively. By default (perhaps only possible?) The password simulator is a "playbook".

You can include "-launchApp" in the above command to automatically launch the application, but if you just don’t click on its icon. The simulator may still have an error when the icon is not displayed until you change the categories back and forth or stop for a moment.

I think you can also refer to this link: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/using_the_tablet_simulator_1866980_11.html

We hope this helps you get more information.
