Why does Mols continue to read my projects?

I added Moles to the project in VS2010, decided that I did not want to use it, and then deleted the Moles link and the .behaviours and .moles assemblies. The problem is that I repeatedly find that Mols was dictated to the project without interference from me. Is there any setting external to the project that will automatically add it if it is installed?

Make sure you do the following:

  • Remove links to assembly malls (for example, "MyAssembly.Moles")
  • Remove link: Microsoft.Moles.Framework
  • Delete all .moles files (switch the "Show all files" button in the solution explorer - before that you must select a test class)
  • Delete the Moled Assemblies folder
  • Clean up the test project (right-click the project in Solution Explorer and select "Clear")
  • Rebuild Test Project
  • Basque in the glory of a test project without roles

UPDATE (JULY 2, 2012) I recommend upgrading to .NET 4.5 Fakes and Stubs (currently in Release Candidate version). Fakes and stubs are product versions of Moles and are fully supported.
