.apk installed on Android but cannot be found anywhere!

I developed two small Android apps using Eclipse. Then I launched both of them over the phone, right-clicking on the project and “running the Android application”, and they were successfully tested. However, when I try to install their .apk files, one of them appears in the list and the other does not appear. I checked the application manager and it shows that the application is being saved. I tried to find it using the "search" in the phone, it can find all the saved .apk except this one.

Do you have any ideas where I made a mistake, especially that it seems to be saved, and only this application does not appear on the phone, although the application manager says that it is installed.

I found out why this is happening. This is needed in AndroidManifest as part of your main action.

<intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN"/> <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER"/> </intent-filter>

My mistake was that I used <action android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER"/> instead of <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER"/> . Without category.LAUNCHER you are not telling him to display the software in the application launcher, so it becomes invisible.

You may need to enable third-party applications on your phone, as it cannot find the one you created. (Applications → Include Unknown Sources)

You can also use the APK installation (search) application, such as the App Installer, to easily find your own APKs and install them.

And, as always, delete and release it, as mentioned above, it happened to everyone that seems.

Your way of describing a quiet mess. By phone do you mean an emulator? If it cannot find .apk and it does not appear in the project folder, clear the project (Project menu) or restart Eclipse. This usually solves the problem. Idk why this happens so often.
