IPhone bluetooth and "Made for iPod"

Is iPhone compatible with non-iOS bluetooth devices? Or does it show iOS + devices that are in the “Made for iPod” program? Or does it even show all devices that you cannot connect to devices that are not in the “Made for iPod” program? So can the phone really see non-iOS devices with non-Made-for-iPod bluetooth?

thanks

Yes iOS (iPhone) devices can detect and show all (iOS and non-iOS) devices near them that can be detected. IOS devices will also connect and connect / interact with all devices (except iOS) that support the corresponding profiles supported by iOS, such as headsets for voice, stereo music, Bluetooth wireless keyboards, mice, etc. The following is a list of supported iOS profiles - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3647

MFi (Made for iPhone / iPad / iPod) is specific only to accessories that connect to iOS devices via bluetooth, but not using standard profiles. (Either because standard profiles do not allow use-case, or because it uses a common profile, such as SPP, to communicate with a specific application on an iOS device)

I can confirm that the iOS device sees all Bluetooth devices and can even be paired with most of them, but more about that. No other communication can be made between iOS and iOS devices.
