I wrote an application that is used by the company as a whole. Many users tend to leave the application open 24-7. This application is constantly being developed as the marketing department needs to be changed. Most of the changes are minor, but often need to be implemented quickly. What I present is something like a message popping up something like "The program will go for the update in five minutes, save your changes now." Is there a way to display this message and delete them from exe remotely? I thought it might just matter the database, which it periodically checks to see if the update is awaiting, but it seems like a cheap hack for me.
