Restore mysql database from data files

Recently, one of my server OS has died. I only have a data disc on the left. Unfortunately, disks with database backups were accidentally formatted shortly before. So, now I hope that I can return the database (not only table structures, but also data), but I really do not know how to do this! I found the .FRM data files, but they do not seem to contain all the data, since they are no more than 10 KB, and the entire database exceeds 3 GB.

I read something about getting .MYD and .MYI files, but I can't find them! Only .FRM .. files

Can someone tell me what to do?

[EDIT] I could not find the .MYD and .MYI files in the data / tablename folder. I don’t know if they should be there, but if not, I don’t know where to look for them, so maybe someone can help me with that.

You should look at the ibdata1 file, which should generate true MySQL server data. A few weeks ago, I was able to restore the database from this file and the .frm files.

Usually this file is located in / var / lib / mysql
