Android: How to use Japanese Unihan characters?

I am developing a Japanese training app. The problem is that the default font used by the system uses Chinese variations of characters, not Japanese variations. For example, ζΌ’ looks a little different in Chinese fonts than in Japanese fonts, although it is the same Unicode code. How can I indicate that my application should use a Japanese font, not Chinese?

If you don’t find a better solution, you can simply use your own .ttf or .otf files, put them in / assets / fonts and load them using createFromAsset ()
