Changing the status of Magento products in different types of stores

I have a Magento Multi-Store installation.

I have a product that must be enabled in shopA and disabled in shopB

If I select the "Websites" tab, the warning "Elements that you do not want to show in the catalog or search results should have the status" Disabled "in the desired repository." maybe, maybe?

Product Default Status Enabled

Then I select the type of store in store B and turn off the product status. Now the status of the product in store A is also disabled.

Is it possible to set the product status in shopA to enable en in shopB to disable?

The manual says: "The status of the product has a website area, which means you can hide or show the product on the website, affecting all kinds of storage for this website."

Source: http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/3_-_store_setup_and_management/catalog/how_the_store_view_affects_categories_and_products

The question arises: is it possible to change the status of the product for each type of storage without affecting other types of storage.

Is your cache cleared, indexes rebuilt, etc.?

Otherwise, you are right.

Since you are saying that your store is only a multi-store, so I don’t think you will see the β€œ Websites ” tab on this product details page. Thus, you have only one way to enable this product in " Shop A " and disable it in " Shop B ".

On the product details page, Magento loads the General tab, in which you will see the Status field. Now on the left side above the " General " tab you will find a drop-down box for " Choose Store View: ". If you click on the drop-down list, you will see a list of all the types of your store available on each website and store.

Now select " Shop B " from this drop-down menu. Magento will ask you to delete all unsaved data from the current view in Admin if you changed the data without saving it. Without worrying about this part, click the β€œ OK ” button in this dialog box and Magento will then download the β€œ Shop B ” store view of the same product.

Here, in addition to the " Status " field, you will find a check box. Make sure it is not installed. Now change the value of the " Status " drop-down list to " Disabled " and save the changes.

Now go to the interface of your store " Shop B " and you will not be able to see this product again. But he will also be active in the presentation of Shop A

Hope this helps.

So many years without the right answer. I have no idea why, but magento does not offer the ability to change the status area to save the view. Found a workaround. Find the attribute in catalog_eav_attribute and change its is_global value to 0 - this means the store’s presentation and works fine, as it should be in the first place :)

Now it fills in only the selected view value in the catalog_product_entity_int table instead of all the views in the website visibility area.

The "Status" attribute in the details of the product page is valid for the Website, not for the store!
