Is there a way to force the drop down (select) arrow control on the right?

I use the: rtl direction in the select element. It does exactly what I need, it:

  • expand the options on the left when the drop-down list is open.
  • text options aligned right.

Question: Is there a way to force the right arrow button?

The reason why I need a choice is as follows:

I need those because the drop-down list is located on the right edge of the page, and if I expand it to the right (by default), the parameter text will not be displayed completely. The parameter text is very long.

I don't think there is a good way to manipulate a control. If you want to customize, you must make your own.

Or you can use something already done by someone like jQuery selectBox . You can customize it.

I don't know if this is possible in your situation, but if you can put direction:rtl on the whole page, the choice will probably expand to the left, which will make your question moot.
