Transition to maven3

Question

We have several corporate projects on maven2, do you think it would be nice to switch to maven 3 now?

I heard that porting is not difficult, but there are no big improvements if you are not going to use parallel assemblies. But our construction machine has almost suffocated, so I do not think that we can use it.

Anyone having problems or big improvements?

The most important thing is to do some test builds with Maven 3 to see if there are any big problems. If it is not. There are improvements there, because Maven 3 is usually a little faster than the same build in Maven 2. Therefore, it may be worthwhile to analyze it in detail.
