HTML meta keywords. Including?

Do you use the “ keywords ” meta on your site, knowing that Google does not use them (and does not have plans) in page rankings and, possibly, even in searches?

Yes Yes; Google is not the only search engine on the Internet, although its market share. There are other engines, including Yahoo, that use META META to some extent.

No. I do not want participants to know what I am trying to rank for . Keywords are very valuable in some markets. If you find a good passphrase that converts well (and your competitors don't know about it), do yourself a favor and keep a monopoly on it.

This is NOT a reason to opt out of keywords altogether.

They are still indexed and searchable and therefore have a function.

In addition, many companies use “keywords” for internal websites that host a ton of HTML-generated content.

I have heard from many people that Google does not use meta keywords, but I'm not sure that I am convinced of this. But, regardless of whether they do it or not, you should still use them, because Bing and Yahoo (the other 2/3 or the big 3) still use them. But don't forget to limit your keywords, because (according to popular opinion), none of the three engines read the last character 46.
