-moz-user-focus for Chrome

I have a custom model dialog dialog that is used for any pop-ups on our web pages. When this dialog box is initialized, the rest of the page will not be available when using jquery expose. I add the following styles to the mask div to prevent selection on the selection.

-moz-user-focus: ignore; -moz-user-select: none; -webkit-user-select: none; -khtml-user-select: none; -o-user-select: none; user-select: none;

In the dialog box, pressing the esckey button closes the dialog box and pressing the enter key, like clicking on the OK or Yes button. But if the user clicks anywhere on the selected area; the above css does not allow focus to go to any control in the shaded area in firefox. For IE, I programmatically process as follows

  $('#exposeMask').attr("contenteditable", "false"); $('#exposeMask').attr("unselectable", "on");

But for Chrome, the above css -webkit-user-select prevents selection, but does not help prevent focus.
I tried Google to find a solution, but I believe that I did not find useful links. Is there a style element equivalent to -moz-user-focus for chrome?

Thanks in advance, M

 pointer-events: none;

That should do it.
