Where does the iPhone store calendar information?

I want to ask a question about the iPhone application. Where is calendar information stored on the iPhone? Is EKEvent used?

The calendar is stored in the SQLite3 database at /var/mobile/Calendar/Calendar.sqlitedb . On the simulator, it is located in /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User/Library/Calendar/Calendar.sqlitedb .

You should not directly access this database.

And yes, EventKit just uses this database.
