Constants for CIFilter Names

Question

Are there constant lines for assembly names in filters ( CIColorControls , CIBloom , etc.) on Mac OS X?

There are constant strings, such as kCIInputEVKey , which you can use to avoid string literals like @"inputEV" , but I cannot find something similar for filter names.

As you probably already figured out, arent.

As long as I see that filters can be provided at runtime, so to get the full picture, you should ask for a list of available filters at runtime, I can only guess why there is no canonical set of filters that are guaranteed to exist - after all, that introduces such constants is reduced to.

Most (if not all) of the filters that were introduced in 10.4 are still around, so its not too dangerous a bet to rely on them sticking around. However, you should probably always consider a failed search ...
