Is ASP.Net supported in monaural?

I listened to a recent streaming podcast , episode 11, and sometime during this, Joel stated that ASP.Net is no longer officially supported by mono,

I looked around and could not find anything officially declaring this.

Is support for asp.net (or active development of the core team) an actual stop or is this statement incorrect?

Perhaps this was due to Attachmate putting off all Mono developers? Fortunately, this problem has been resolved.

ASP.NET is still actively developing, especially ASP.NET MVC 3. I don’t know why Joel said so.
