What are the advantages of mootools over jquery?

In short, this can be a pretty dumb question. But I still need to know what are the advantages / disadvantages of using MooTools JS compared to jQuery?

Personally, I find jQuery uses shorter syntaxes, but MooTools can handle heavy loads. Thus, his winning situation. So can anyone provide some information on which of these libraries would be better with a high AJAX web application?
