Sections of a disassembled executable x86 elf and when and in what order they start

Question

I am currently studying the x86 build and am trying to reverse engineer on a regular x86 elf executable. Now there are several sections, such as init main, etc. I did a little Google research, but did not find what I wanted. Maybe someone here knows where to read this topic, since I really want to understand which sections are executed and the order of execution. I appreciate any links to this topic with detailed information.
