I am trying to figure out which version number is being compared with the assembly. Should there be anything in the "Version" field. 4.2 is the current version of my application if it is under assembly or version.
The version is intended for the user, the assembly for the developer. You want to change the version, for example 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, but usually you can increase the assembly as 1,2,3,4 ... 123,124 ...
Version numbers are those that are displayed in the appstore, and the difference in them will force the user to update through the Appstore.
But upon approval, your first assembly may be rejected, then itβs nice to indicate that your second assembly has a different assembly number to keep them separate.
