Will a meta tag that rises twice with a module harm my SEO?

I have meta tags encoded in my index.php (page.tpl.php in drupal). Now I want to use a module called "nodewords", which allows meta tags on every single page; not just the index page for the entire site. But now he displays it as something like this:

Note that the meta tags are listed twice. Once for the main index (indicated on each page) and once for the module, including it for a separate page. My question is, does this do my SEO by having it twice? I have already indexed my search engines pretty well and would not want to jeopardize this. Thanks. `

You have obviously very invalid HTML code and are you worried about SEO? At first, I will worry about how to properly handle the site. Who knows how numerous browsers will respond to poorly designed code like this.

But to answer your question, meta tags are no longer used for ranking, so this will not hurt your ranking. However, since the description meta tag can be used as your fragment in the ranking of your pages, if you have two of them, you don’t know how search engines will react to it. You may get a description or a bad one, because search engines can simply use an arbitrary fragment from their page.

Bottom line: Correct your HTML so that there is only one <html> and <head> .

As mentioned above, this can damage your ranking. You must be sure to remove any meta tags that are hardcoded using HTML and manually assign them through Nodeewords.

You are better off with one set, although Meta tags today do not have the indexing value they are used to.

There was a time when this technique was in vogue for search engines that could read and index comment tags. Today we know that it’s safer to refrain from code that could be misinterpreted as spam. No need to repeat tags.
