Why does the keyboard raise the tab?

Question

I set tabhost at the bottom of the screen, at the top of the screen is the edittext, when I press editext, the on-screen keyboard jumps up and raises the tabhost to the middle of the screen. I just want tabhost to keep at the bottom though keyboayd diaplay.

Add this activity tag attribute to the AndroidManifest file for TabActivityClass

 android:windowSoftInputMode="adjustPan"
