Eclipse plugin for internationalizing i18n testing

I was wondering if you knew any of the eclipse plugins that scan your code for internationalization issues? Things like inline strings or locally sensitive methods.

I looked at google and there were many articles on HOW to internationalize the eclipse plugin, but it does not support it.

Thanks in advance!

I believe internationalization is a complex issue, and every language / framework / you -name-it that deals with i18n does it differently. So, I assume that there is no such plugin and will not be in the near future.

The only plugin I found is the Eclipse I18N Properties File Editor , which accesses a specific file type, but most likely you don't need it in particular.

The closest you can get in Java can be found using the tools below.

  • getext-commons - it can help you in simple extraction of user visible lines, etc.
  • JRC Editor - it can help you manage resource packages. E.g. he can tell you if this key has a translation that is missing for any supported locale of your application.

Although this is an old question, I thought about sharing TapiJI as a good option if someone is still looking
