Alternative Authorize.net CIM

Question

We need to store a customer’s credit card and personal information. Id like to look at Authorize.net for CIM mgmt. but before I can go in that direction, I would like to find out if anyone has experience with others or preferences in a business model or API.

Authorize.net is the transition to these days.

The new alternative I found is https://stripe.com/ , they can run for free and charge 2.9% + 30 ¢ per transaction. Very developer friendly, see all of their API libraries: https://stripe.com/docs/libraries
