Xcode debugger doesn't stop ipod using iOS 5 Beta

I have 2 devices, iphone with 4.3.1 and ipod with 5.0.

The problem is that in my iphone the debugger stops at break points, and in ipod the debugger does not stop at break points.

Any ideas on why this is happening?

@Tuyen Nguyen: Have you installed the iOS 5 SDK on your Mac? I think this is what you need.

You also need to understand that some functions may not be available in some cases, as they are still a version of BETA. It may not be a fully functional version.

So, you can try using the iOS 5 SDK on your Mac, or if you have already tried this, I think you should wait until the final version of iOS 5 works correctly.

Also in the link below, they discussed that some iOS 5 features still do not work on iPod. So maybe Apple is working on it until the final launch.

You can also try to refer to this link. Maybe this can help you a little.

I think the same problem as in iTunes. If you are using the beta SDK, you also need the beta version of iTunes to sync with your device and the beta version of Xcode. Do you have a beta version of Xcode? That's because the official version of Xcode does not have an iOS 5 debugger. Open your Organizer and see if your iPod is included as a supported debugging device.

Do you have an SDK for iOS5 installed? Are you checking this? If not, the application will not stop at breakpoints. There is no iOS5 debugger in your version of Xcode.

Not a solution to your problem, but I ran into the same problem and solved it using UIAlertViews and NSLogs. It should also be mentioned that I even installed xcode with the beta version of the iOS 5 SDK, even after which the breakpoints were not affected. It was a problem with characters. You can create and display a temporary warning in which you want to place a breakpoint with its message / name, which is the value you want to view, or you can register the value.

To debug a device running iOS 5, you will need to install the beta version of Xcode, which contains the iOS 5 SDK. After registering as an apple developer, you can download it from developer.apple.com .
