Android vs iOS development

I just finished studying the development of applications on the Android platform, as the language issue was easier to understand. However, the convention made me crazy, but simple enough to understand. Now dillema: I'm going to move on to iOS development. The language part will not be hard to understand, but I'm a little worried about the design pattern or using Xcode.

What problems can I encounter to distinguish between these two developed environments? And who is easier to handle and more productive?

The Android and iOS operating systems are best in place. Both do well, but it is obvious that one OS can have any function as a professional, and the other can have it as a minus.

If you already know Java, developing applications for Android will be very simple. Android applications can be fully encoded in Java code. iOS is written in Objective-C or Swift code.
