When you use too much AJAX

Over the past year, we have developed a system that uses many AJAX calls. From looking at things now, I wonder when there is too much good (AJAX) just too much. So here is my question. When do you know that you use too much AJAX? What is your rule when you create a web application.

Edit: is there such an excess of AJAX?

I read the question is there is something like too much AJAX . But it provides a connection to the server.

I think it depends only on what you want search engines to find on your site. If you want them to be able to find every word in every corner, do not use ajax.

If this is a private area in which the user must log in, there are no restrictions. The search engine cannot find such content.

For web applications, I started doing the whole page in javascript and ajax. Therefore, you will never have to reload the page. It makes your life easier.
