Android video chat using XMPP

I learned the best way to develop a video chat application on Android, which:

a) Is direct P2P

OR

b) Can it use existing services (gtalk?) that already support video chat for message processing, being able to support a user-linked application.

For this, I considered using XMPP + Jingle. I saw this post and this one , and I'm not sure that this idea is viable. What I would like to know is that you can actually use jingle on android and that, in your opinion, will be the best library / API available (fixed smack, official smack, asmack, beem asmack ..) before using my goal.

I would also appreciate the opinions as to whether options A or B are better (or even possible, as I am not sure if option B exists).

I researched Beem for about 1 week, and I found that Beem does not fully implement application types and call transfer method.
