Silverlight support on iPad?

We have a Silverlight application developed 2 years ago for a construction client for entering schedules. They switch to using the iPad and now discover that the application does not work on the iPad.

So ... is there any iOS support for Silverlight? Is a specific version of Silverlight supported? Are there any support plans?

A Google search is unclear whether there is a solution or not. I am looking for clarity here. The messages that I see about this date back to October 2010.

No. Mobile Safari on iPad does not support or do not play Microsoft Silverlight Content. Apple has also limited the use of Silverlight on the iPhone.

Netflix uses Silverlight to stream video in a watch instantly to a section of their website.

EDIT: I believe there are applications that will allow you to run the silverlight application on the server and transfer the results to your ipad or iphone. Of course, this will require your silverlight application to be very lightweight, as it basically broadcasts the video and passes through another server for interaction.
