Visual Studio 2010 Icon Displays UAC Screen

I just installed Visual Studio 2010 on my home computer and as shown in the figure below, the icon is displayed with the UAC screen.

This, of course, is not a problem, but is this normal behavior in an administrator account with UAC turned off? I do not remember what it was on my work machine.

Yes, this is the correct behavior recommended by the Microsoft User Account Control Guide. The relevant part is in the "UAC shield " icon section and reads:

Displays the UAC screen even if user account management has been turned off or the user is using the built-in administrator account. Consistently displaying the UAC screen is easier to program and provides users with information on the nature of the task.
