How to disable print preview in Google Chrome version 38?

I have a POS using a web browser. But when I use onload = "window.print ();" print preview appears and you need to click ok to continue printing. A.

There are recommendations from other sources to add --disable-print-preview for a short cut. They seem to be working on older versions.

In what version does this extension work? or any other way to disable the latest version of chrome?

The command line argument --disable-print-preview works in the latest version of Chrome, I just tested it myself.

I am using Chrome 44.0.2403.107 (64-bit).

If you want to not only skip the print preview, but also the system print dialog, use the --kiosk-printing command line --kiosk-printing instead.

Make sure Chrome is completely turned off before you restart it, as it likes to chat in the background. You may need to restart your computer for it to work.

It has annoyed me for many years.

Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box and enter the following: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe --disable-print-preview

This removes the print preview, which is great, but when you turn off the computer and restart, you will have to start it again.

As a correction for this setting of a scheduled task, see the link below

Hope this helps

  1. Task Manager -> Chrome -> End of Process
  2. Assignment of Chrome properties: ("C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe" --kiosk-printing) is applicable and normal
  3. Start Chrome, Finish

It's working for me
