Can I send a Mac application without including a sandbox?

As I heard, you need to enable the sandbox to send Mac Apps. Because I want to use NSRunningApplication.terminate , and it does not work with the sandbox.

Only sandboxes are allowed, I'm sorry.

UPDATE

Now Apple extends the deadline for applications without a sandbox on the MAS until June. Applications that are not isolated can be updated even after this date ... I think this is great news.

To clarify, you can send the application without a sandbox until March 1, 2012. After this date, Apple will only accept sandboxed apps.

I'm not sure that they will remove unnecessary applications from the store, if they are already there. They either delete them or do not allow you to update until you use the rights.
