Jquery mobile finger detection

With jQuery mobile, is it possible to determine the number of fingers on the screen? I am a user interface student trying to collect an application for a school project. Essentially, I need to have different feedback for one, two and three fingers, but I'm not sure how to connect the jquery mobile or TouchSwipe plugin.

jQuery mobile (starting from version 1.03b) supports only basic scrolling and does not distinguish between 1, 2 and 3 fingers.

touchSwipe (since version 1.2.4) supports multi-pass scrolling by passing it to finger options, however, the parameters are limited to 1 or 2 fingers.

As far as I know, there is currently no multi-finger support in jQuery mobile, and the last time I tested TouchSwipe, that wasn't the case either. But there is another plugin - jQuery Multiswipe, which should support multiple fingers. http://plugins.jquery.com/project/multiswipe
