Temporary data at irregular intervals in HighChart

Question

I have time data at irregular intervals, such as:

data: [ [Date.UTC(1970, 10, 27), 12 ], [Date.UTC(1970, 10, 29), 8 ] ] 

in this example time, which is shown as complete for the stream, I really want the difference to be zero. So the data between 27 and 29 will be served from 0, and Date will be 28, I did it manually, but I wonder if there is something in highchart to do something like this?

Doing this manually is the only way to go and what you have already done.

I had a similar problem, in my case I took care of this on the server side. I use Java, so I used a HashMap with a date as a key.
