IOS 4.3 or later won't be available to Verizon iPhone users?

Immediately after downloading my Apple binary to iTunesConnect, this message appears,

"The binary file downloaded for the latest version of this application indicates that iOS 4.3 or later is required. Applications that require iOS 4.3 or later will not be available to Verizon iPhone users. If this application can be compatible with earlier versions of iOS , you can reject the binary and download a new one that points to the earliest iOS compatible. "

What should I do so that my application can reach as much as possible for clients? Thanks.

Find these 4.3 exclusive methods and find alternatives available for 4.0. In future projects, try to develop thinking on a reasonable version of iOS.

Today, for development with a base of 4.0, this is more than reasonable.

To be honest, if you wait a week, the Verizon iPhone will be on iOS5 and you can use the iOS4.3 + API.
