I searched everything and I can not find an API that will return information for albums released this week.
Does anyone know one thing?
the itunes store will allow you to generate an RSS feed for music, including new releases. here is the link: http://itunes.apple.com/rss?
I noticed http://www.mechanicalnation.com/category/new-album-releases/ , which seem to use the Discogs API. Perhaps you can also use MusicBrainz.
