Javascript libraries for touch devices like iPad

I need to make an important decision regarding choosing the right js frame for my web application. This will be the same html running on multiple devices. Desktop, tabke, mobile ..

At the moment, we need to support the iPad and iPhone to some extent, with the possibility of supporting an Android tablet in the future ...

My question is different from Sencha touch, which are some other good js libraries? I know that Sencha touch is good, but not quite sure how to convince the client of this if the same can be done through libraries related to jQuery ..

My page would have the usual touches like swipe, drag and drop, accordion stuff ...

Please suggest which library I should use ... for example, which are optimized for touch devices. I heard that there is jQuery mobile, but I'm not sure if it is mature enough and suitable for professional use.

jQuery Mobile is still in beta, but it is still powerful. Sencha is perfect, many good apps have done this.

Basically a library, mainly used for manual touch control, ajaxing and UI. Senchi has all of them.

If you want to take a look at other libraries, follow these steps:

  • Titanium (native)
  • PhoenGap (Native)
  • Spoutcore touch
  • VMI
  • jQPad
