Remap non-www on Wordpress without using .htaccess

The developer I worked with told me that we had a version that was not related to the WWW site, redirected to the www version using the Wordpress database parameter, not the .htaccess file. Does anyone know how to do this?

If you try to access a WordPress site using anything other than the site address set on the general settings tab (go to the admin panel and click "Settings", then "General Settings" in the menu on the left), it will automatically redirect you .

If you do not need www www / posts to redirect www url in a simple way, follow these steps.

  • login to admin panel
  • go to settings at the bottom of the left side
  • select General settings
  • add "www" to the beginning of both fields below. WordPress Address (URL) Website Address (URL)
  • save and log in again. Now everything is ready.

Best wishes.
