How to change the string key in cassandra?

I need to change (update it with a new value) the row key in cassandra. How can i do this? Of course, I can select all rows with the previos keyword, and then insert their columns in the new key and delete the previous rows. it's too complicated. maybe there is another way to resolve this issue?

Unfortunately, you cannot change the row key - this will entail too much overhead (for example, you may need to move the row to another host).

What you can do is copy the entire row and paste it again using the new row key.
