How can I send a tn3270 compatible screen to a terminal emulator?

I want to test the terminal emulator that I have, but I really don't want to learn Hercules 360 before anyone mentions this.

I will not create mainframe applications, what really needs to be done is to learn how to send tn3270 screens for display on the terminal emulator. My reason is simple; I have a set of screens from the client, where their layout, appearance, etc. All fixed. I want to test my client software on these screens without paving the way for the client site to do this in the first case.

Otherwise, does anyone know of a "less intensive" method for modeling the tn3270 environment with fields, attributes, etc.?

I found a link to an old free product called CodeCutter's miniFrame, but the website no longer exists for it, and google returns various links that simply point to it.
