Library for creating Google Maps dynamic markers?

Google recently abandoned its graphics card API, and we are looking for a replacement for their Dynamic Icons , which we used to create Google Maps tokens. For example, something like:

There is an open source project called Google Maps Utility Library V3 , in which there are separate libraries for creating info boxes with markers
