Are additional dependencies possible with Dist :: Zilla?

Question

I want some of my dependencies to be discovered by Dist :: Zilla additionally. How can i do this?

The documentation of Dist :: Zilla :: Plugin :: Prereqs says that you can define them as:

[Prereqs / RuntimeRecommends] Some::Optional::Module = 0 

Although at least explicitly , it was not supported by regular customers (or, at least, not last summer).
