Why is screen resolution (not set) in my Google Analytics reports?

When I look at reports for Audience → Technology → Browser and OS, I see that the data is displayed like this:

enter image description here

Does anyone know why the screen resolution will not be set?

I heard that https can interfere with GA variables, but our site does not use https . We have our own login / authentication methods that use cookies. Unauthorized users are redirected to our site with one signature, but it does not use https .

Thanks for any help with this ... just trying to figure out how to report these visitors.

Since they do not have javascript, and Google Analytics refuses the .gif request, which does not have access to the capabilities of the browser.

I'm late for this party, but I found the answer here:

What is not set in Google Analytics reports

In fact, browsers that do not support Flash will run this Do Not Set category in the Screen Resolution section. This is not Javascript, nor a tracking gif, nor any of them. There is Flash on our site, and it makes sense then why it appears.

In accordance with this article you will also receive Not assigned in other areas for other reasons. Hope this helps someone else who stumbles here.
