Get_browser () in Chrome returns 'Default Browser'

Question

I have a PHP script that I use to detect a users browser before I show it my page.

Using the get_browser () method and the array index of the returned array 'array [' browser ']', from the chrome window returns "Default Browser". I wonder if anyone came across this or a similar situation. I'm sure the thing.

For this to work, your browser configuration parameter in php.ini must point to the correct location of the browscap.ini file on your system.

browscap.ini is not PHP related, but here you can find the updated php_browscap.ini file.

While browsercap.ini contains information about many browsers, it relies on custom updates to maintain the current database. The file format is pretty straightforward.
