How can I read the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) log?

How can I read the Background Intelligent Transfer Journal (BITS)?

I found the following blog:

but it creates a binary log file that I cannot read on

% WINDIR% \ System32 \ bits.log

Can anybody help me?
