Install WinDBG

What is the best way to install WinDBG?

It is used for very simple loading, i.e. there was a small executable file. I tried some links on this page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg463009.aspx , some of which are very large. I thought the "stand-alone" version would do the trick. However, all programs for Windows debugging tools (x86 or x64) do not have a record.

The solution was to run the "stand-alone" executable file twice. Dot Net version 4 is installed on first launch.

The setting indicated in your link is "Installation for download and installation."

Go to this option.

Install Debugging Tools for Windows as Part of the Windows SDK

Run the setup. It requests a local download or direct installation . Click the local version of the download.

The setting will be downloaded to your local computer
